We have a nightly routine of eating dinner, then chilling out on the couch for about 30 minutes watching a show on the Food Network while the girls play with their toys then we head upstairs for bath time, scripture study, story time, and prayers. As we were heading upstairs Meag had already started up the stairs with Maddie but Macy started walking back into the other room. She had some toys in her hands. I called for her a few times but she wasn't listening to me. I got frustrated and told Meag. She leaned over the edge of the stairs and noticed that Macy was putting her toys away before she wanted to go upstairs. It's amazing that a 15 month old realizes by herself that she needs to put the toys away before she goes upstairs and gets ready for bed. I thank my wife for teaching my girls at such a young age. I can't wait for the day when my daughters will be waiting on me hand and foot. LOL! Just kidding.
