I know this post may seem silly but I like to post about products that Meagan and I purchase that we are really impressed with. I notice that I am more pleased with products that I purchase that I hear about by referral, granted we didn’t purchase this one by referral from a friend however I am so pleased with this one that I had to share it.
Meagan and I are really into cooking, it is a hobby we love. A little over a week ago our beloved pepper grinder busted and wouldn’t grind any more pepper. I was a little upset because we purchased it about 3 years ago for about $30 which to me was expensive. As I get older I realize that buying the top of the line products is the best way to go, they don’t always have to be the most expensive just the best of the best. I find that going “on the cheap” on items that you purchase will for the most part give you products that disappoint.
With that said Meagan began to search online for a reliable pepper grinder/mill. Meagan found a few pepper mills on Amazon. She found one that I really liked and stood out as an exceptional pepper mill. It is made by Pepper Mill Imports which is a company that builds their pepper mills by hand. According to Pepper Mill Imports web site “the hand made mills were modeled after a brass coffee mill originally used by the Greek army several hundred years ago.” We decided to go with the 8 inch pepper mill chrome and we absolutely love it. It is tall and skinny and you think there is nothing to it but when you pick it up you immediately notice that it is a solid product. You can tell that it is made by hand by the way it’s constructed (i.e. slight imperfections in the metal handle). The pepper that it produces is perfectly ground up every time. With our old grinder I would set it to “fine” and it would inconsistently produce fine and medium grinds. I am very pleased with this new pepper mill and if you are ever in the market for a pepper mill check this one out you won’t be disappointed.
